Origin story
The first art I cared about was 16-bit JRPG sprite work in the mid-1990s. The constraint of the pixel grid — fixed palette, fixed resolution, fixed sprite size — felt clarifying rather than restrictive. Twenty-something years later the constraint still works. The Perler bead side started as a hobby for friends; it grew into the part of the practice that pays the studio rent.
Find me on Instagram for daily-ish posts, on Etsy for the bead-sprite drops, on YouTube for the longer process videos, and right here for everything else.
